Carl M. Freeman Companies Commercial Real Estate announce plans to bring Starbucks Coffee to their new development project, Potomac Towne Center, located along Route 9 north of US 340 in Ranson, West Virginia. This will be the first Starbucks in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

The Starbucks is planned as part of the first building to take shape in the Potomac Towne Center development project being built across from The Marketplace shopping center where Kohl’s recently opened. The Starbucks will have a drive through to allow for convenient quick ordering as well as there traditional coffee house lounge and outdoor seating. A broad range of coffee options, menu items, home brewing resources and amenities continue to make Starbucks a popular destination.

“National retailers like Kohl’s and Starbucks have recognized the opportunity and growth we are seeing in this market. There is also a need for quality office space in this area and we have developed this into our plan at Potomac Town Center. The mixed-use building design includes 11,500 square feet of first floor retail space and provides 9000 square feet of contemporary office space on the second floor. Our plan is to have the building completed by the end of the year and hope to have Starbucks opening in early 2008,”explained Mike Reilly, vice president and general manager of Carl M. This building will be the first new office space constructed in the area in almost 20 years. Some of the second floor contemporary office suites will offer outdoor balcony space to provide scenic views of the Shenandoah Mountains. Elevator access to the second floor, ample parking and convenient access are sure to make this a desirable office location for many.
