Carl M. Freeman Companies, proud owners of the Olney Village Center and Olney Town Center announce plans to hold free community events at their Olney, Maryland shopping centers.

Fall Fest will be held in the shopping centers’ parking lots on Saturday, October 13th from 12-3 pm. The event will feature a Scarecrow Making Workshop at Olney Town Center from 12-2 pm where you can create your own fall decoration. All of the materials and instruction you need to make your own scarecrow are provided or you are welcome to bring an old pair of jeans and a long–sleeved shirt for your own personal touch. Scarecrow decorations are yours to keep. Horse-drawn hayrides will be offered at Olney Village Center from 1-3 pm as well as face painting, DJ, balloons and costume characters!

On Saturday, October 27th, Olney Village Center and Olney Town Center will host a Safe Trick or Treating event from 4-6 pm at participating stores throughout the two centers. The whole family is invited to join us for the festivities and surprises. Free candy and treats for all, join us for a howling good time.
