In 2005 the Carl M. Freeman Companies purchased The Historic Tidewater Inn on the steps of the Talbot County courthouse at foreclosure -- saving the historic property in Easton, Maryland from demolition and despair.

Much has already been done to restore this historic destination to its status as 'The Pride of the Eastern Shore' and we offer our promise that it will be worth the journey. We are committed to continuing our partnership with the town of Easton - and to contributing great things to this very special community.
